i draw because i can’t help it.
i got the drawing thing from my mom (i got the tall thing from my dad) and i grew up with no shortage of art supplies, classes, or opportunities. i was always pencil-in-hand, high school, college... and then it just stopped.
well, i guess i stopped, and for years, i really didn't even notice it was gone.
about four years ago, i became unemployed, and drawing reemerged as cheap entertainment. i started making cards as a way to get rid of the pile of drawings that soon overtook my apartment. a good response encouraged me and here i am.
as for what i draw, well, there's no real explanation. my influences range from comic books to street art, with everything from burlesque to muppetry in the mix.
